How does FutureMessage work?+
Write a note or record a short video, pick the exact future date, and we'll lock your message until then. Our daily delivery job unlocks it on the right day and emails the recipient a secure link, so nothing is sent immediately.
Can I send a message to anyone?+
Absolutely. Each message can target its own recipient email. We send a confirmation link before anything is queued, and you can monitor the verification status in your dashboard and resend it if needed.
Can I edit or delete a message after scheduling?+
You can delete a message any time (before or after it's delivered), and we'll remove it (and its video) from your archive. Edits aren't supported yet, so delete and recreate if you need to change something.
How long can I schedule messages into the future?+
Schedule messages for next week, next year, or even the next decade. The date picker only accepts future dates, and we store your message safely until it unlocks.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?+
Free lets you try one text-only message. Pro (a $9 one-time purchase) unlocks unlimited messages, HD video uploads, and 2 GB of private storage with priority support. When the storage meter hits 100%, you can delete old videos or buy another 2 GB add-on for $9.
What happens if my storage is full?+
Pro accounts include 2 GB for videos. You'll see a progress ring in the dashboard, and uploads are blocked once you hit the cap. Delete older messages (which also removes their videos) to instantly free space, or add another 2 GB anytime for $9. Our cleanup jobs handle any abandoned uploads for you.
Is my data safe and private?+
Yes. Messages live on encrypted infrastructure, only unlock on the delivery date, and remain private unless you explicitly share them. Recipients must confirm via email before we queue their delivery, adding another safety check.
Is Pro really a one-time payment?+
Totally. Pay once, keep the perks forever with no subscriptions, renewals, or surprise fees. If you ever need more storage down the road, you can add another 2 GB for the same one-time price.
